The Dispatch Manager is responsible for building a strong team and shaping a positive experience for both our employees and our customers. The Dispatch Manager will ensure that our Dispatchers are meeting their goals and will use effective management skills for interviewing, hiring, training, and retaining employees.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for coaching and developing team members, including setting performance goals and objectives
- Conduct performance evaluations for employees, address employee issues, and deliver corrective action as needed
- Assist with the hiring and training of new employees
- Assist the team during high volume call times and peak season
- Communicate policy updates to employees through team meetings
- Document all coaching/development sessions in a timely manner
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the team, including daily administrative duties such as timecard administration and payroll, as required
- Manage escalated customer issues and work directly with customers to bring about resolution in a timely and efficient manner
- Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned and/or required
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years Customer Service/Call Center/Dispatch experience
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of management or supervisory experience; call center or dispatch experience preferred
- Demonstrate coaching and counseling skills used to effectively develop all employees; influence and change individual behavior and assist employees to achieve a high level of success and productiveness
- Leadership skills to effectively develop, lead, inspire and motivate a high performing team
- Effective problem solving/process improvement skills used to identify and resolve day-to-day operation and employee relations problems
- Detail oriented, organizational, prioritization and time management skills; experience building daily/weekly structure in schedules
- Takes a proactive role in bringing about change, applying new ways to develop the business through improved management of people and processes
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business and performance requirements

Compensation: $75,000 - $95,000
