Summer Warehouse Associate (Full‑Time)
Job Summary
FH Furr is seeking a reliable and motivated Summer Warehouse Associate to support our Manassas warehouse operations during the busy summer season. This full‑time, temporary role plays a critical part in ensuring materials, equipment, and inventory are accurately received, stored, and distributed to support field operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming inventory and materials
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for technicians and internal teams
- Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklifts (if certified)
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
- Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned by warehouse leadership
Qualifications
Previous warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience preferred
Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license in good standing as required for business operations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Dependable attendance and punctuality required
- Forklift experience or certification is a plus (not required)
